Overview

Filtration system that comprises of 2 filter cartridges in 20 inch SlimLine housings, one for solids and one for dissolved contaminants.

The sediment filter cartridge removes any solids from the water by direct interception, without clogging up quickly. The 5 micron rating is the required size for the UV process.

The carbon block filter cartridge removes dissolved substances based on adsorptive retention, when molecules attach to the filter surface and change their molecular structure by losing ions to the media.

Specifications

The Filter Set for 8 GPM (30 LPM) Flow that is used with the UV-700 Sterilizer or any other application that requires pre-filtration on the micro filtration level comes with dual 10 inch SlimLine filter housings with a sediment filter for solids at 5 Micron in stage 1 and a carbon block filter for taste and odour-causing dissolved chemicals and organics in stage 2.

The Filter Set includes a mounting bracket, hardware for installation and a wrench to open the housings for filter change.

When used with the UV-700, it comes with a stainless steel flexible S-Pipe for the connection between the Filter Set and the UV. When used with the AquaFlow Whole House Descaler, it comes with the appropriate connection fittings.
