When you need a whole-house treatment system for a small home, the POU250 system is what you want. The system offers a dual filtration system and UV disinfection at up to 4 GPM which is perfect for a small home with up to 3 people and standard water consumption habits.
The first of the dual filters will reduce and remove sediments such as dirt, dust and rust. The second one is a carbon filter which helps to remove foul taste and odor along with some volatile organic compounds and some chemicals like chlorine.
The stainless steel UV chamber is where the water is exposed to the UV light and this is where the disinfection takes place. UV light is very effective at killing a wide variety of disease-causing pathogens including bacteria and virus that can contaminate drinking water supplies.
